How Exotic Event Planning Came to Be.....
In 2012, while working in the financial sector, my company was acquired by a larger firm. My job was outsourced to a temp agency, and I was left searching for something new and exciting in life that would meet my needs as a single mom.
Exotic began because friends of mine knew how well I planned parties for my daughter's birthdays and solicited me to help them plan their children's events, now that I was available.
Another friend of mine suggested social events for singles, and I discovered a niche market that has enabled me to work part-time while earning a full-time income as a for-profit event planner.
As a volunteer for numerous charities, I have also gained extensive experience in planning charitable events.
Before event planning, I managed and worked with global businesses in both the financial sector and the retail marketplace.
I initiated change and took positive action for any company or organization I have worked for throughout my career.
I would not have achieved the success I did within the industry if not for my keen ability to identify and retain quality employees who consistently exceeded the needs and expectations of my employers and clients.
I believe in the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times. I bring added value to every client by prioritizing their best interests above all else in every situation. All of these character traits are present in my event planning business.
The breadth of my experience is in communicating effectively with clients or on their behalf. This has been an asset to all of the companies I have been employed by as well as the organizations I have chosen to affiliate myself with.
My goals are simple: To provide cost-effective event planning for my clients without losing the elements of elegance or enticement. For those who dare to dream big, I am not afraid to help them achieve exotic and original features that will make their event stand out among those hosted by their peers and predecessors.
We cater to the New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland areas.
